The One That Got Away - Livefast Magazine
Right before I left New York for good, my two friends Grace & Jon figured we should shoot a loosely movement based editorial in Prospect Park Brooklyn. Grace is a model by trade, but has an eye for styling and brought the wardrobe. Jon Stars, her photographer beau is a quietly talented photographer and between the three of us we stole a free location and created the below. Was there highly questionable changing scenarios? Yes. Zero privacy? Yes. Odd looks from strangers also enjoying the park? No. It’s New York, they’ve seen it all before. Sometimes the most stripped back shoots are the best. No fussing with hair and makeup, c stands, lighting and backdrops. Just frolicking through an enormous park and having a pretty glorious time doing it.
